SUPPORT, SPONSORSHIP and LINKS of gratitude

This project in all its phases has received enormous support from friends, fans, and institutions of note. At the bottom of this page, you are welcome to add your name to the roster of great patrons.

A special thank you to the apprentices who have so ably recreated our website:
Webmaster: Chris Cuellar (chris.israel.cuellar at gmail.com )

The 2005 Lake Forest, Chicago and New York performances of the Gabriel Fauré Jazz Songbook were sponsored in part by the American Composers Forum through its Encore Program, supporting repeat performances of new works. The Alliance Française and HotHouse performances were supported as well by the Illinois Arts Council ArtsTour program.

For opening the doors for our 2005 and 2006 photo sessions, we thank Erin Hogan at the Art Institute of Chicago, Allen McNichols at Maxim's for the City of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs, and Lori Lang at the Chicago Symphony Center. Photos by Courtney Kolar, assisted by April Carter and Ivonne Silva.

Major supporters of the 2006 recording:
Cappy Kidd at energydetectives.com; Marcella and Robert Paddock, Jr.; Nancy Remick; Carol Barz; Jonathan Erway; Salle Huber; Larry Rothman.

Year 2007 improvements to our website and promotional materials were made possible in part by a grant from the Community Arts Assistance Program of the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.

Donors for the Jazz Fauré Project to Paris (April 22-28, 2008)
Our tour was a wonderful success, thanks to the generosity of 36 individuals who donated a total of $3540 ranging from $20 to $1000, plus a substantial grant from the Governor's International Exchange Program of the Illinois Arts Council (a state agency) and major contributions from individuals and institutes of the University of Chicago including T. Parker Hall, Dr. Robert Kendrick and the Music Department, the U of C France Chicago Center, and the U of C Paris Center.

Their support allowed the Project to keynote a one-day conference organized by the University of Chicago Paris Center inspired by our theme: Jazz Encounters: Musical Spaces In-between the Visual and the Aural and to perform concerts at the Musée de Montmartre, La Halle St. Pierre, and a soirée hosted by Madame Renée Johnson of the Paris-Chicago Sister City Commiittee.

You, too, can become part of the Jazz Fauré Project. Help us take the Project "to the theatre" with a musical theatre adaptation in 2010. Your financial and promotional support is greatly appreciated!
