The Shops at North Bridge present an exclusive sneak peek at the future Art Institute of Chicago blockbuster exhibition, Fashion, Impressionism, and Modernity, with a fall fashion showcase that mixes contemporary styles with some of Impressionism's most noteworthy works of art. Claudia Hommel, Sean Harris and jazz trio complete this one-of-a-kind event by performing songs from The Jazz Fauré Project.

Performed by ClaudiaHommel, Sean Harris, Bobby Schiff, Jerry DiMuzio, Jim Cox, Tim Davis. The house is packed. The response is electric. Discussion is animated at the after-show reception. The after-glow continues elsewhere when the maintenance crew closes up the museum.

APRIL 22-28, 2008 IN PARIS!
For the University of Chicago Paris Center
Our project inspires a scholarly conference on “Jazz Encounters: Musical Spaces In-between the Visual and the Aural” and concerts at the Musée de Montmartre, La Halle St. Pierre, and a soiré for the Paris–Chicago Sister City Committee.

Our tour was a wonderful success, thanks to the generosity of 36 individuals who donated a total of $3540, a substantial grant from the Illinois Arts Council (a state agency) and with support by the University of Chicago’s France Chicago Center, T. Parker Hall and the Music Department, and the U of C Paris Center.
